The new line of ATEX / IECEx certified asynchronous motors represents a step forward in Bonani Motori production and has been developed precisely to meet these needs, while ensuring high performance and reliability in potentially hazardous environments thanks to high performance and IE3 energy efficiency.
1. Certificates: the motors are designed and certified according to the ATEX (Atmosphères Explosibles) directive and the IECEX Scheme, which allows their use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The motors are available in different protection modes Ex eb “increased safety”, Ex db / Ex dbeb “flameproof”, Ex tb “dust tight” to adapt to specific risks and operating requirements (download the certifications ››).
2. Robust and safe design: the construction of the motors is designed to guarantee maximum safety, reducing the risk of sparks or overheating (Ex eb). The structure of the motor is designed to contain internal explosion propagation, with high pressure resistant enclosures to contain potential internal deflagrations (Ex db).

The windings are made to ensure energy efficiency according to the reference directives and standards and guarantee a very low delta temperature to ensure low heating and Ex temperature classes.

In some models, the presence of an additional forced ventilation contributes to the control of the operating temperature (for example with converter duty application).
